Way before John Lloyd and Bea made a movie that had them commuting via the ferry, my son and I got into one after the Chinatown walking tour with Carlos Celdran. It was a short trip, from Quiapo to Intramuros and I promised myself we'd come back to take the ride from Rockwell to Intramuros and back. Turns out I may be too late, the ferry has reportedly ceased operations. I hope I'm wrong and I hope we can still take that ride to see a different perspective of Manila and the Pasig River. And maybe wave at PNoy as we pass by Malacanang?
